Since 1944 Artesania San Jose manufactures in Spain handcrafted decoration and basketry items.
Every year we increase our wide and complete range of products, with two new collections (spring – summer and autumn – winter) that we proudly present in the most important European exhibitions.
One of the distinctive characteristics, which make us different is using natural fibres for manufacturing our products, such as: Rush, Esparto grass, Willow, Scotch Broom, Olive wood, Holm oak, etc. We’re able to combine these materials, with other ones so different as wood, iron or wool.
Our customers trust in our company, this faithfulness lasts in many cases more than 30 years. This loyalty is based on high quality standards, original designs, constant development of our range of products, flexibility and personal relationship with our customers.
Artesania San Jose is above all an innovative and flexible company, we’re able to redesign, modify and customize our products according to the needs of our customers. We’re opened to develop new requested items and take part in special decoration projects for windows of the most prestigious store chains, exclusive commercial centres and big magnitude projects for Town Halls, Hotels and Restaurants from Europe.
EVOLUTION OF THE COMPANY
During its first steps Artesania San Jose was a family company, which was specialised in manufacturing handcrafted basketry items, this manufacturing was developed by expert artisans and using the wide tradition of the region.
In the 60s we started exhibiting in international exhibitions and due to important demand from Spain and foreign countries, and with the help of our Designers, we developed decorative items collections, which always had a great success worldwide between our customers.
We kept on increasing the range of products, for this reason we started manufacturing seasonal products for Easter, Halloween and Christmas.
Noteworthy is the Christmas Decoration because it’s turned to be our speciality during the last years, thanks to the great success and reception of our exclusive designs and proposals for Christmas.
Our good practices and our interest for innovating and progressing made us participate in important Contract projects, and this way many of our products have reached Hotels and Resorts.
Nowadays, Artesania San José has a professional staff and is a modern company, which still has its traditional virtues, know-how and experience, after having achieved them during its more than 60 years of history. All these points have let Artesania San Jose and its products be present in more than 20 international markets from Europe, America and Australia.
